Meet Our Staff

Our Director - Miss Stephanie

Stephanie Wagoner Fetty is a Barboursville native and a 1997 graduate of Cabell Midland High School. She graduated from Marshall University in 2001 with a B.A. in Education. Her certifications are in Elementary Education K-6 and Early Education PK-K. Miss Stephanie has taught Kindergarten for two years, 3rd grade for one year, and reading intervention for two years. Stephanie is married to her high school sweetheart Eric Fetty and they have an 8 year old son Jackson, a 3 year old daughter Ella, and their newest addition to the family is due in September! The Fettys are active members of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church where Miss Stephanie teaches children's church and serves on the Christian Education Committee. In 2009 Pea Ridge United Methodist Preschool was fortunate to be able to hire Miss Stephanie as our new Director. She attended PRUMP as a child and is excited to return. We are blessed to have her and can't wait to begin another exciting school year!

5 Day Class - Miss Patty

Patty Chapman is a life long member of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church where she has served on numerous committees and helped with the children's programs. Miss Patty was an X-ray technician before realizing her true calling here at PRUMP. She has now been with us for over 12 years and has become known as our resident "LEGO Expert". Her love for and knowledge of sign language has helped us take our teaching to the next level. Miss Patty has been happily married to Steve Chapman for 33 years. They have a son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Sarah Chapman, and a grandson Trey! She is currently visiting North Carolina as often as she can so Trey can be properly spoiled by his "Meemo"!

4 Day Class - Miss Laura

Laura Witten Smith is a 1994 graduate of Barboursville High School and has been with Pea Ridge United Methodist Preschool for over 7 years. She is married to Dale Smith. They have a 12 year old son Elijah and a 9 year old son Owen. Elijah and Owen are both graduates of PRUMP and now attend Barboursville Middle School and Village of Barboursville Elementary where Miss Laura has served on PTO. Miss Laura is a life long member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church where she plays the piano, serves on the Christian Education Committee, leads Junior Church, and cooks for All Stars. Miss Laura LOVES to read and is our "book expert' at PRUMP! Her current project is learning more about the computer and attempting to build and run this site!

4 Day Class - Miss Mollie

Mollie Call Bannister is a 1997 graduate of Cabell Midland High School and has been with Pea Ridge United Methodist Preschool for over 8 years. Miss Mollie is happily married to Bobby Bannister and has an 13 year old son Chase McKinney, a 12 year old daughter Megan McKinney, and a 6 year old daughter Alexis Bannister. She is extremely active in Steele Memorial United Methodist Church where she teaches Vacation Bible School and helps with All Stars and Children's Church. Miss Mollie is an enthusiastic supporter of Marshall University (Go Herd) and Barboursville Little League Baseball. PRUMP has nicknamed Miss Mollie their "hair stylist" because the girls always go to her when their ponytails fall down or their hair is in their face! She is also a NON-STOP cleaner! We love her for keeping us ship shape!

2 Year Old Class - Miss Amy

Amy Adkins is a 1989 graduate of Barboursville High School and is the newest member of the Pea Ridge United Methodist Preschool family. Miss Amy is married to Seth Adkins and they have two children. Their daughter Sydney is 10 years old and their son Sawyer is 6 years old. They both attend Martha Elementary School where Miss Amy is a volunteer. Miss Amy is an active member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church where she serves on Administrative Council, teaches Vacation Bible School, helps with Children's Church, and teaches All Stars. Miss Amy is also a MAJOR fan of the Jonas Brothers:) We are so blessed to have her!

2 Year Old Class - Miss Summer
Miss Summer is a 1995 graduate of Cabell Midland High School. She is married to Pryce Haynes and they have two beautiful children. Lilah is their 5 year old daughter and Haynes, or IV as he is commonly known, is their 2 year old son. Miss Summer is a member of the Junior League and also the Huntington MOMS Club. She previously worked for several years at PRUMP and is returning this year after taking time off to have babies! We are so fortunate to have her back:)

Miss Angie - Nuestra Profesora de Espanol

Angie Reynolds has been graciously been volunteering her time at PRUMP for the last 3 years. Miss Angie comes in twice a week and teaches our preschoolers Spanish in a creative and crazy fun way! Angie is married to Jim Reynolds and they have 3 beautiful children, Jameson, Ella, and Brody. She was a high school Spanish teacher until she quit to be a "stay at home Mom".......anyone who knows Angie knows she is rarely home, instead transporting her kids to baseball, horeback riding, soccer, and whatever else they get into! Miss Angie uses her own curriculum and has taught our preschoolers the days of the week, months of the year, colors, numbers, parts of the body, weather, and greetings in Spanish. She also teaches them Spanish songs for Christmas, Spring, and Halloween. We love our Miss Angie! She has been such an amazing addition to our preschool program and we hope to have her for many years to come!

OUR SUPER SUBS!

Courtney Eastone is PRUMP family. She is married to the John Eastone and together they have 3 amazing children. Natalie is their 4th grader and Jack and Sophie are their 6 year old twins. All three Eastone children are graduates of PRUMP and over the the Eastones have helped us tremendously with anything we needed. This year Courtney has agreed to sub for us and we are thrilled! She is a graduate of St. Albans High School and is a MAJOR fan of the UK Wildcats!
