Special Programs
Hola! Pea Ridge United Methodist Preschool is blessed to have our bilingual friend Miss Angie helping our preschoolers learn Spanish. Miss Angie comes in 2-3 times a week and teaches the children colors, days of the week, months of the year, numbers, and weather in Spanish. She also teaches the children songs and special holiday words in Spanish! The children LOVE Miss Angie and really look forward to their time learning with her!
Sign It! The staff of PRUMP has always believed that our children should learn multiple languages in order to be better prepared for the world. Not only do we learn Spanish, but we also incorporate Sign Language into our daily routines. We teach the children at least one sign everyday in addition to using sign language for the alphabet, calendar, and carpet time activities.
